Together, we can improve the lives of children and families in Maryland and DC!

We invite anyone who is interested in advancing efforts to support the mental health needs of young children and their families.  The more diverse our Association is, including families, home visitors, child care providers, social workers, educators, psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and anyone else serving young children and families, the better we will be able to support our communities in Maryland and D.C.  

We are an affiliate of the World Association of Infant Mental Health and benefit from networking with a diverse, international community that emphasizes the importance of culture in early development.

Memberships are effective for one calendar year from the date payment was submitted (i.e. join in February 2026, renewal will be due in February 2027). The IMHA MD/DC membership chair will email you ahead of your renewal date. 

Membership Categories and Yearly Fees:

All members will receive the IMHA MD/DC newsletter, invitations to association events and learning opportunities, the opportunity to attend an annual membership gathering,  membership-based discounts on events and programming, and are eligible for Endorsement.

• Individual Membership - $50 

• Student Membership - $20 

• Organizations—$500   

  • * Organization Membership is for organizations wishing to support the important work of the IMHA of MD/DC through a yearly donation of $500. This will include membership for 5 team members. Additional team members will cost $30 per person. For current Organizational members, this will go into effect at the next renewal cycle.
